CSD is used by another pharmaceutical company specialized in the production of an API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient - the active component of a drug) to accurately register the process parameters of each batch produced. This way, it can be unequivocally demonstrated that the process parameters have remained within the required specifications for a specific batch.
